beginnings

what a damn corny title for a blog post. anyways. i have an extra 30 minutes after packing and before going to the airport. it has been a tornado of a half week, and if anybody is searching for a wee little bit of honesty, it has been incredibly shitty. trying to keep spirits up though. i'm flying into portland tonight. hanging out around there for about a week or two, then heading out in the middle of july on mi bicicleta. haven't had the chance to get excited about it yet. that'll come. i hate saying goodbye. especially when it involves making your mother cry. i don't care who you are, that sucks. (and the last couple of sentences equals a whopping dose of self-diagnosed seperation anxiety.) i think i'm gonna try and become one of those hypochondriacs (butchered the spelling) that it is apparent it is all in my head. that will make me quirky and individual. yea!

"i like to know where the river boat sails tonight,
to new orleans, that's just fine alright."

yo, what do you keep looking at in the video? were you being followed? So if you're interested, I think you could definitely get a job working for Jennica's dad on his farm this fall during sweet potato season. They also have a natural/organic food store/delivery service. Her dad knows Joe Salitin (omnivore's dillemma) from the old days. I'm sure he'd love to have you, even for a couple of months. Your spanish skills would be a huge asset as well. Plus you could learn to sea kayak. Hope you're well. Dave
